Do you ship overseas/internationally? Yes we do. Just go to the Sock Shop and shop on our website as usual. Then during checkout you simply put in the proper shipping address and our shopping cart will calculate the shipping costs to get your order to you. Please know that we do not mark up international shipping costs at all. It really is just that expensive.
How do you size your socks? We sell our adult socks by small, medium and large. Those sizes correspond to the following shoe sizes.
Small: Women's 6 - 8, Men's 5 - 7
Medium: Women's 8 - 10, Men's 7 - 9
Large: Women's 10 - 12, Men's 9 - 11
For the kid's socks, they are also sized by small, medium and large, but those sizes correspond to the following ages.
Small: Age 3-5
Medium: Age 6-8
Large: Age 9-12
For the infant socks, they are available in small and medium.
Small: 6-12 months
Medium: 12-24 months
I'm right in the middle of two sizes, what size socks should I order? If you are on the cusp between sizes and are wondering which size to get, the socks will shrink a bit but they also stretch. So if you like your socks to fit snug, then opt for the smaller size and if you don't like socks to fit snug then opt for the larger size.
How do I know what size to order? You will be happy to know that our socks run true to size. If you are on the cusp of a size we recommend that you order the next size up. The cotton will hug your feet better than the wool due to the lycra content.
What are the washing instructions? All of our socks are machine washable and dryable.
How soon should I expect my order? Thank you for your order. Orders ship within 2 to 3 business days. You will receive an e-mail with the tracking number when your order is processed.
What is your return policy? We want you to be confident buying from us and happy with your purchase, so our return policy is simple. If a pair of socks doesn't fit quite right, you can always return a pair of socks for a different size.
What types of payment / which credit cards do you accept? For online orders we accept Visa and Mastercard. If you would like to pay by cash or check you'll need to contact our office during business hours to place your order and for instructions on how to send your payment in. Please note that if you want to pay by check we will need to wait until your check clears our bank before we ship the order.
Is ordering at Socklady.com safe? Your safe and secure shopping experience is extremely important to us. We have partnered with Mal's eCommerce, a leading online shopping cart provider to ensure that your information is always kept safe. During checkout, the step where you provide your credit card information is on a secure server (you can tell because the URL switches from starting with "http://..." to starting with "https://..." indicating that the information you sending will be submitted in an encrypted format, over a secure web server). Your credit card transactions with us are 100% safe as this secure server software (SSL) is the e-commerce industry standard and encrypts all payment information when you make a purchase. If you still feel uncomfortable placing an order online, you may contact us over the phone during our regular business hours. Please never email your credit card information.
Do you make custom colored socks? Sorry, not yet. But you can sign up for our newsletter and you can be sure that if and when we do start making custom colored socks that we will announce it there.
Do you sell adult socks as a pair with a spare? Sorry, no. We did try it, but it turns out that we couldn't find enough three-legged adults to buy our pair with a spare socks. So we're leaving the three socks to a pair fun to the kids for now.
Do your socks go on sale? We are not offering a discount at this time. Please feel free to sign up for our newsletter to be informed of any upcoming promotion offers.
How much do your socks cost? Our socks are made in the USA and retail between $16.00 and $20.00 per pair. Our hats & scarvs are $32 each.
How do I get a catalog? Please visit our Catalog Request Page for instructions and we will happily send you a catalog and ordering information.
Can you send me images for an article I'm writing / for my website? Please visit our Press Center for a variety of web and hi-res images.
What happened to your wool socks? How do I order wool socks? We're sad to see them go, but we have officially run out of our Merino Wool Socks and we have no plans to knit any more in the near future. Our cotton socks (knit with recycled cotton) are wildly popular and the preferred mismatched sock of choice for Solmate Socks fans and we're focusing our energy on expanding our line of cotton socks.
